a few things I can do for you.
“‘Jack of all trades, master of none,’ or so the saying goes. Few people know the rest of it: ‘…but oftentimes better than a master of one.” After 15 years, I’m firmly in the second camp.
digital spaces
Websites with good looks and good manners.
For small businesses and entrepreneurs ready to grow, I design and build with WordPress and YOOtheme Pro. For creatives and everyone else, Squarespace is my first love.
Fussing over typography and untangling the technical bits make me happy. What makes me happiest are projects that ask for more than a template and stock photos of people laughing at salads.

words & ideas
For when you know exactly what you want to say. Until you try to write it.
Website copy, editorial pieces, articles, and the occasional strongly worded paragraph that needs to sound considerably more diplomatic than its author intended. That’s what I’m naturally drawn to.
Copywriting too, for those with plenty to say and no desire to write it.
Either way, it should sound like you on a good day, not like AI on any day.

art & commissions
Some things are better made by hand.
When I'm not creating things on a screen, I'm often drawing, painting or finding new ways to make a perfectly respectable mess with art materials.
I create original fineliner drawings, mixed-media artwork and selected commissioned pieces, usually with a fondness for texture, individuality, authenticity and the kind of work that requires more patience than I possess in most other areas of life.

learning design
Clicking ‘Next’ isn’t necessarily learning.
Through interactive scenarios, courses, videos and multimedia that need more thought than simply arranging information on a screen, I design and develop digital and blended learning experiences.
My work brings together instructional design, visual communication, technical development and an unreasonable attention to detail.
People deserve learning experiences that respect their time and intelligence. Revolutionary, apparently.
